The Comeback Of The Air Jordan 1 High OG – Black/White

Hosted by: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Kicksonfire/~3/9hfngu5xbZQ/

This year we’ve seen a few new colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High to be excited about.  Alongside some of those new colorways, Jordan Brand has thrown in some OG colorways including the Air Jordan 1 High OG – Black/White.  The sneaker was last seen in the 2008 CDP package alongside the AJ 22.

The simple look of the Air Jordan 1 High OG – Black/White should have everyone’s attention as it provides a smooth clean look for your everyday wear.  White paneling throughout inducing the tongue are contrasted perfectly with black linings and a black swoosh.  The only difference from the CDP Air Jordan 1 is the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue.  Set to release later this year, let us know your thoughts on the Air Jordan 1 High OG – Black/White.

Michael Beasley Rumors: Latest Buzz and Speculation Surrounding Free-Agent Star

Hosted by: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2202109-michael-beasley-rumors-latest-buzz-and-speculation-surrounding-free-agent-star

Beasley’s had several workouts for teams this summer, including two with the Los Angeles Lakers, but remains unsigned for the 2014-15 season.

The Spurs have 14 guaranteed contracts for next season, and so far, they haven’t been able to come to terms with restricted free agent Aron Baynes.

The latest link makes sense on the surface. San Antonio lacks depth behind Kawhi Leonard with first-round pick Kyle Anderson needing time to develop. The UCLA product has forward height, but is more accustomed to playing guard.

Beasley would also bring another offensive weapon to the equation. He averaged better than 19 points per game during the 2010-11 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves but has watched his playing time drop steadily since that point.

That’s not without reason, of course. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald had a source explain why the Heat didn’t bring him back:

A person with direct knowledge cited several reasons for the Heat’s lack of interest: Inconsistency, lack of trust in his defense (and ability to execute the Heat’s defensive system), and maturity/focus issues, which are still a concern even though he improved somewhat in that regard last season.

Despite those problems, the Spurs apparently want to get a better look for themselves to determine whether he would be a good fit for their team.

Brandon Jennings Gained 25 Pounds Over the Summer

Hosted by: http://www.slamonline.com/nba/brandon-jennings-gained-25-pounds-summer/

Jennings also admits that his first year in Detroit – with averages of 15.5 points on 37.3% shooting, and 7.6 assists – was the worst year of his five-year career, and says he’s ready to help lead a turnaround for the Pistons. Per the Detroit News:

“I’m about 185, 190 on my good days,” said Jennings, noticeably thicker but still wiry.

He said (president/head coach Stan Van Gundy) reminds him of his first coach in Milwaukee, Scott Skiles. […] “He’s really big on details and he said you’re gonna have to play defense and give your all, every night,” Jennings said. “He already said it, I’m not expecting you to lock guys up one on one. Guys are just too good. But what we can do is give a good effort and play team defense.”

“I’m gonna be honest. It was my worst year,” said Jennings, repeating it for emphasis. “Dealing with all types of things. The fractured jaw, losing weight, not being able to play preseason, missing games. Then getting into a rhythm, then Mo (Cheeks) was fired and I’m back down again. It was just the worst season ever, a roller coaster.”
